We Are Building Our Future
I found my spiritual home when I started here as a Founding Member 26 years ago, and I haven’t wavered in how I feel about this special place – how we care for one another and respect each other constantly blows me away.
I come here for the fellowship; it’s everywhere – the services, Faith in Action, and Everybody in this church Is CareRing!
I want to see more of all of this in our new home, and to bring in more people to experience our fellowship, services, community action, religious education, and lifelong learning.
What I most remember about my first visit to GMUUC was reading the seven principles. This was it! Finally, I had found a faith not based on historic miracles; but built from the search for truth and justice, and honoring the worth and dignity of all people.
Consider our new building. We’re not planning stained-glass windows or fancy chandeliers. We are building a new home that allows us to practice our faith and expand our programs in service to others.
